We mentioned "Trip.com" to a friend and he immediately asked me " how are they different from "priceline."
It would appear that they are not different at all because they offer very similiar services. The most obvious is their sheer size.
Trip.com simply has more business connections which allows it to offer a greater variety of hotels, flights, and car rentals. Priceline has much to offer but is simply a much smaller company.
Priceline will let you pick your price but which hotel or rental you actually get is a lottery. You will get a hotel in the desired area but whether it is a Hilton or Motel 6 is out of your control.
